It all came down to the very last shot at the Brier for Kevin Martin and team Alberta to beat Glenn Howard and his Ontario team. In an uncharacteristically slow match, both teams seemed to struggle throughout until Martin made a draw to the button in the tenth end to win his third Brier title, and first in 11 years.
