Hi folks,

David Nedohin here. As some of you may be aware, Team Ferbey has grown our hair to a point where we seem to be getting more comments about that than our curling! As such, in the spirit of the good-hearted jesting, we have decided to do something with our hair for a good cause. We have agreed that right after the Player's Championship in April, our team will undergo the Team Ferbey Headshave to raise money for cancer research. This implies that Marcel, Scott, and myself have agreed, and Randy will join in as long as we raise a minimum of $10,000!

April 1st, at 6pm in the Keith's Patch at the Edmonton Worlds we will be having an auction. The highest bidder will be able to come up and select which one of the team members they will shave. I realize this is April Fools but this is not a joke.

We have all been touched by cancer in one way or another, and for myself it is my Dad. He has battled for almost 15 years, and I can tell you that this battle has been about strength and fortitude that can only be admired by those of us playing the great game of curling. It helps you realize that at the end of the day, curling is just that... a game. Here is our chance to really make a difference in someones life, and to help get Ferb's head gleaming like the rest of ours!

Pledges can also be made by cash or cheque made out to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, and given to Team Ferbey or mailed to:
