Chelyabinsk, Russia_Canada's Colleen Pinkney improved to 6-0 with an easy 11-1 win over the U.S. on Wednesday at the world senior curling championships.
Team Canada scored four points in the first end against the Americans and never looked back.
Surprisingly this is the first time Pinkney has competed on arena ice and lucky for her team she has had no trouble adjusting to the conditions.
In the men's event, Canadian skip Bruce Delaney is also perfect after doubling Finland 10-5 to improve to 4-0.
Delaney and team Canada built a comfortable 6-1 lead after three ends and were never threatened after that.
Both the men's and women's teams have qualified for the playoff round.
