About Team Ferbey

When Randy Ferbey , David Nedohin , Scott Pfeifer and Marcel Rocque joined forces on the ice in 1999, nobody could have imagined how quickly these four would come together to establish themselves as one of the most dominant curling teams in the world!

After setting a record of 3 consecutive Brier wins, the Ferbey Four made it back to the Brier in Saskatoon the following year, before eventually losing a nail biter in the final. This loss was heartbreaking for the Ferbey Four, as they attempted to set a new standard in national playdowns with their fourth title, to equal that of the infamous Richardsons.

The loss in 2004 fired the engine of the Ferbey machine, providing motivation to get back on top of the curling world in 2005, heading into the Olympic Trials. The team committed 100% to their success in the sport, and sacrificed businesses, employment, and family time to travel around the world on an unprecedented schedule. In the 2004/2005 season on the World Curling Tour, the Ferbey Four were at home for a total of 4 weekends.

This commitment and gamble proved to pay off, as the boys made appearances in 14 finals throughout the year, finishing 2nd in money winnings, and re-capturing their title as Canadian and World Champions!

Team Ferbey will continue their dedication to the sport, with their main priority being preparation for the 2005 Olympic Trials to be held in December, 2005.
