As of April 2005, Steve has been the new lead player on team Simmons. Besides winning the 2003 World Junior Curling Championships, Steve has played lead for Brad Heidt losing a provincial final in 2004. The last two years Steve has skipped his own team to two Provincial Tankards and had success on the World Curling Tour. Steve has also just recently won the Canadian University Men’s Curling Championships and will be representing Canada in the 2007 World University Championships in Italy.
